Matla (مطلع) of Hilal Committee of Canada includes the entirety of the world. Hilal Committee of Canada follows the criteria of a global moon sighting. If at least two Muslims witness the new moon anywhere in the world, it is acceptable for all places around the world.

Moonsighting Announcement
السلام علیکم و رحمتہ اللہ و برکاتہ
Dhul Qadah 1446
There have been NO confirmed sightings of the hilal for the month of Dhul Qadah on the evening of Sunday, 29th Shawwal 1446 (April 27, 2025). Therefore, Shawwal will be 30 days, and the Hilal Committee officially declares that Tuesday, April 29, 2025, will be the 1st of Dhul Qadah 1446.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ لاَ تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ، وَلاَ تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ، فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin’ Umar (May Allah be pleased with him):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned Ramadan and said, "Do not fast unless you see the crescent (of Ramadan), and do not give up fasting till you see the crescent (of Shawwal), but if the sky is overcast (if you cannot see it), then count Sha'ban as 30 days.
