Matla (مطلع) of Hilal Committee of Canada includes the entirety of North America, South America, Latin America, Hawaii, and the Caribbean, due to the fact that this Matla (مطلع) shares the same time zones.

Moonsighting Announcement
السلام علیکم و رحمتہ اللہ و برکاتہ
Shawwal 1445
There were confirmed sightings of the hilal for the month of Shawwal on the eve of Tuesday 29th Ramadan 1445/9h April 2024. Therefore Ramadan will be 29 days and the Hilal Committee declares Wednesday 10th April 2024 will be the 1st of Shawwal 1445

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ لاَ تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ، وَلاَ تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ، فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin’ Umar (May Allah be pleased with him):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned Ramadan and said, "Do not fast unless you see the crescent (of Ramadan), and do not give up fasting till you see the crescent (of Shawwal), but if the sky is overcast (if you cannot see it), then count Sha'ban as 30 days.
